Mixing is an important part in the treatment process. With the use of draft tube mixers in the anoxic basin, the solids stay suspended while promoting bacterial breakdown of nitrate where aerated mixing is not desired. This is set up ahead of the aeration basin for denitrification.

Comes complete with extra heavy greaseable roller bearings, self-cleaning propeller and a variable speed drive unit. The VFD integral to the motor may be easily adapted to nearly any plant automation and SCADA system. Multiple units can be installed and used in larger basins to prevent settling and keep basin contents homogenous.
