When it comes to space that is. At the Harris County MUD #449 site there needed to be improvements made to process more. However, with limited space tucked in near a housing community, we were limited on the size of the tankage. Luckily, we have the ability to accommodate such issues with the design of our Hydra-Solids common wall treatment plants. This design allows for two or more processing trains while remaining small and efficient.
Knowing there would be growth in the area, Harris County decided to go with our Hydra-Solids common wall plant. This design allowed for easy expansion when the time came. Starting with 1 process train in 2016 and sitting with 3 process trains by the end of 2021, this treatment plant has been able to accommodate the increased flows with each year of population growth.
